Hi All,

I know this post probably belongs on Kotaku but I’m an Opponaught. So I’m new to Steam (just binged on my first Steam sale today).

Is there a “friend” feature like Xbox live and if so, do any Oppo’s want a new friend? (in the creepiest way possible)

Also, anyone have any pointers for a noob?

What’s your Steam name? I’ll add you as a friend (WWaveform).

There’s also an Oppo group on Steam. Go to the Community tab, and in the box that says “ Search players and groups ,” look up Oppositelock.

And unless you’re seriously good at FPS games, stay away from Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike.

There’s a big group of pc gamers on here with steam and I have a few people on here, but i dont play racing games lol.

TF2 and CS are excellent ways to get good at FPS. I used TF2 to introduce my son to FPS and now he is proficient in most of the classes. Sneaky little punk is one hell of a good spy.

They have a huge selection of racing games, I just don’t like using a keyboard for racing (dont have a 360 controller anymore)
